Why Most People Feel Better Once They Start Drinking Enough Water
A lot of people walk around dehydrated without realizing it.
Low energy, headaches, brain fog, cravings, poor workouts—hydration plays a role in all of that.
One of the first things many clients need to improve is simply drinking more water.
A good starting point is taking your body weight in pounds and dividing it in half. That number is roughly how many ounces of water you should aim for each day.
For example:
- 200 pounds → 100 ounces
- 140 pounds → 70 ounces
That’s just a baseline.
If you train hard, sweat a lot, or spend time in dry environments, your needs will be higher.
It’s also important to remember that coffee and alcohol don’t count toward hydration goals the same way water does.
For many people, improving hydration is one of the quickest ways to improve energy and recovery without changing anything else.
